I train sales people and provide what we term as road maps which guide customer conversations. Recently I was working with someone who was very experienced and had been selling for a long time.

I just had my “big” b-day.  I won’t tell you how big, but trust me – it was big! So much so I decided to fly out of town and spend the day on a 4-wheeler cruising around the mountain tops of Wyoming reliving my youth. The occasion made me think about gift-giving. Why do people have such issues receiving gifts?

When I was growing up, kids didn’t wear bike helmets or knee/elbow pads. I used to love riding my bike though and always liked going fast. I would zoom through the neighborhood with the breeze flowing through my ponytail as it blew straight back in the wind.
